A good number of members turned out for our Annual Meeting on January 23rd, at Seabold Hall. Following a tremendous potluck feast- hats off to the chefs-- our business meeting ensued. There was lively discussion as we needed to amend by-laws and talk about upcoming changes and proposals in the Club. This has always been a great time for the majority of the membership to come together to express their views and indulge in catching up with fellow boaters. One highlight of the evening was John Chen's presentation of the history of Eagle Harbor Yacht Club, complete with a burgee from the past! And then there was the installation of new Flag Officers, including a montage of "hat-attire" and presentation by the incoming Commodore, Cindy Robinson. A good time was had by all.
We had a good turnout at the BIYC Clubhouse for
Super Bowl Sunday! Members from both clubs ate, drank and made merry
while enjoying the game and rooting for their favorite team.
