A Boat Renaming Ceremony

February 11, 2007

A small ceremony was held at Winslow Wharf Marina to present a new name for Al Lindstrum's 'new' boat.  It was part fun and partly a plea to the various gods of the sea to accept the name, and not make mischief over the offense of changing the name, of a vessel plying their seas!  Commodore Mark Leese led with an entreaty to Poseidon, King of the Sea, and lord of all the lesser sea gods....

At left, Al Lindstrum explaining the significance of

his boat's new name.

The skies cleared-- a good omen!
